Can You Trust Your Own Country? 

 In December of last year, the Washington Post published top secret Pentagon documents that showed one of the many lies the U.S. tells their citizens. It opens up saying in basic terms that the war against Afghanistan was not theirs to win, and that they had no chance. Sgt. First Class Javier Gutierrez, of San Antonio, Texas, and Sgt. First Class Rey Rodriguez of Las Cruces, New Mexico were both only 28 years old when they were killed in a joint attack against Afghanistan.
Why send troops over to attack if the war's winner is already chosen? Why send troops over if Afghanistan is showing no hostility towards our country? Why wage war over Afghanistan and continuously lie to our people about it? Shouldn't we have the right to choose who we go to war with, or at all? Shouldn't we know the absolute truth about a war OUR country is fighting? They are not fighting for our freedom, they are fighting for the governments. 
As stated in the article, there are over 10,000 troops in Afghanistan territory, and most of them don't even know why they are fighting for our oh-so-truthful country. For more information about this story, click here.

Our Relationship With Technology Technology in general can have both a positive relationship and a negative relationship with us. Technology can inform us about things that we need to hear, such as news about COVID-19, sports, and other worthy stories such as certain crimes and new inventions. Where did wireless phones come from? The first wireless phones were only in cars and trucks back in 1946. They were invented by Bell Laboratories. It was a complicated system, and throughout New York, only 12 calls could be made at a time, given the size of the city.
