Where did wireless phones come from?
The first wireless phones were only in cars and trucks back in 1946. They were invented by Bell Laboratories. It was a complicated system, and throughout New York, only 12 calls could be made at a time, given the size of the city. Years later in 1962, what they called the "Madira Senator" was invented, which is what we would call a modern day boom box. Before Steve Jobs came out with the very first iPhone, all phones were connected to the wall with a plug, or had a giant antennae coming out of the top of the phone. In 2007, the first ever iPhone was released. Four years later, when Jobs passed away, the company was left to his two partners, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. Since then, phones have left arguably the biggest impact any piece of technology has left yet. Since his death, more than five new versions of the iPhone have been released, the most recent being the iPhone being the most recent. His company, 'Apple', has expanded their product to speakers, headphones, ear beds, computers, and iPods. Apple today is one of the most thriving companies in the world.
